Your curiosity extends beyond understanding systems to addressing the complexities of real-world data. You know what excellence looks like, consistently delivering high-quality solutions that empower your team to work more effectively.In this role, you will engage with a diverse array of data sources, including voter files from all 50 states, census data, polling results, geographic boundaries, and election returns. These datasets vary in frequency, from daily updates during early voting to annual releases from the census. Your objective will be to streamline this complexity by constructing pipelines, defining data contracts, and establishing governance processes that convert these varied inputs into Atlas, our cohesive representation of American civic life.This position is ideal for someone who thrives on tackling complex data challenges, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and recognizes that robust infrastructure and foundational data are vital for facilitating research, product development, and significant civic impact. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, researchers, and product teams who depend on your infrastructure.Additionally, you will maintain a keen interest in emerging technologies, particularly in the field of AI, to enhance our capabilities further.
