We are currently seeking a skilled Maritime Electrician to join our expanding fleet in Brazil.This is a unique opportunity to work with a fleet of modern vessels equipped with advanced technology, engaging in dynamic and complex operations.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Performing tasks as directed by the Duty Officer in the Engine Room;Ensuring all electrical devices, installations, and lighting are functioning correctly;Being present in the Engine Room or another designated location during vessel maneuvers or emergencies;Proactively inspecting communication systems, lighting, cranes, winches, and all electrical and electronic automation and control equipment to maintain optimal operating conditions;Immediately reporting any irregularities observed during inspections to the Duty Officer;Assisting the Chief Engineer in managing the inventory of electrical spare parts and equipment;Executing scheduled maintenance and repairs on installations related to your duties under the supervision of the Duty Officer;Verifying the compatibility of new equipment installed onboard with the vessel's electrical supply;Maintaining entrusted installations, equipment, and tools in good operational condition, organized, and clean;Participating in tank cleaning operations as requested by the Master and/or Chief Engineer;Ensuring your "Seafarer’s Health Certificate" is valid and that renewals are completed timely;Participating in integrated operations;Taking precautions to contribute to the prevention of marine pollution;Working diligently and safely, utilizing the necessary PPE for your tasks and ensuring others do the same;Understanding your responsibilities and those outlined in the vessel's emergency operations master table;Familiarizing yourself with the distribution and operation of the vessel's safety and lifesaving equipment;Participating in risk assessments prior to activities.
