As a pivotal member of our retail team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive your personal sales and contribute to store sales goals while setting a positive example for your team and cultivating their sales skills.
- Design and implement innovative sales strategies to boost revenue while ensuring stellar customer experiences and meeting key performance indicators.
- Effectively gather and manage client data, including contact information to enhance customer engagement.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities by promptly addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Maintain a deep understanding of merchandise, pricing strategies, and store layouts, both on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandising to provide an inviting shopping environment.
- Leverage your proficiency in various computer systems and applications, including POS and inventory management tools.
- Enforce inventory security protocols in compliance with the company’s loss prevention strategies.
- Follow all operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure store operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in an Assistant Manager role.
- Results-driven with a strong sales orientation, capable of leading and mentoring team members.
- A vibrant, friendly, and engaging personality, with a willingness to initiate customer interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and corporate partners.
- Technologically adept, capable of operating retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, and email.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 40 pounds for merchandising tasks, comfortable with ladders or stairs.
- Proven track record of coaching and mentoring employees in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
