THE JOB
As a part-time Emergency Veterinarian, your passion for helping animals and their owners will be at the forefront of your work. At VEG, we are dedicated to supporting your professional growth, allowing you to become a confident and skilled ER veterinarian. You will handle a wide spectrum of emergencies, from routine cases to complex surgical procedures, and provide care for a variety of pets, including exotics. As a leader on the floor, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of your clients and their pets, supported by a team that empowers you to excel.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Field medical inquiries via phone.
- Promptly triage patients through our unique VEG Triage and VEG Spikes systems, ensuring immediate care and allowing families to remain with their pets.
- Collect patient signalment, presenting complaints, vital signs, and perform thorough physical examinations.
- Conduct necessary diagnostic procedures, including ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies.
- Deliver accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
