Key Responsibilities of the Part-Time Instructor:

  • Deliver Engaging Curriculum: Utilize our specialized curriculum tailored for advanced learners to guide small group classes in language arts.
  • Student Engagement: Facilitate student involvement to promote a collaborative learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Effectively manage a classroom of up to 16 students.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Connect with students and their families to enrich their educational experiences.
  • Inspire Critical Thinking: Encourage students to develop a passion for language arts and critical analysis.

Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:

  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

Schedule Information (Academic Year):

  • Classes are held in the evenings and on weekends, and candidates must be available to teach after school (starting as early as 4 PM) and/or on weekends.
  • The minimum commitment is approximately 3 hours per week for each assigned class.
  • Each course session lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.
