Role overview
The Part-Time Male Specimen Collector represents Millennium Health LLC at clinical sites, supporting the collection and handling of specimens for medication monitoring and drug testing. This role ensures that patients, clinicians, and the laboratory receive professional service and quality care throughout the collection process.
Main responsibilities
- Collect urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens from patients, including observed collections for male patients as required.
- Prepare, process, and package specimens for shipment to the laboratory.
- Accurately record patient information, physician orders, and laboratory details.
- Serve as a communication link between clinics and the laboratory team.
- Resolve specimen-related billing or patient information issues using the ordering portal.
- Order and maintain inventory of collection supplies at the site.
- Travel between multiple facilities may be necessary.
