Key Responsibilities:
- Set individualized speech and language treatment goals using dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team members to develop integrated treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group therapy and co-treatment with other disciplines when appropriate.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies.
- Utilize play-based and goal-oriented interventions to enhance receptive and expressive language skills, considering each child's unique sensory processing, regulation, and motor skills.
- Facilitate engaging and meaningful experiences that help achieve individualized goals.
- Develop strategies to promote communication across various settings.
- Engage with individuals and their families to understand their values, interests, and goals.
- Design programming that addresses all aspects of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
- Contribute to the development of innovative programs.
- Guide patients, families, and caregivers in implementing home programs that support treatment.
- Expect to provide at least 22.75 hours of direct patient care each week.
