Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED is required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, as well as a tuberculosis test if needed. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Capable of performing various physical movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification upon completing onboarding.

In this fulfilling role, you will work closely with children on a one-on-one basis to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Utilizing evidence-based strategies, you will help teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills, while also working to minimize challenging behaviors.

The ideal candidates will possess patience, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Comprehensive training will be provided, so prior experience is not a requirement. However, it is essential to be physically prepared, as the role involves standing, walking, sitting, and occasionally lifting or carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
