Role Overview
The Payroll Officer manages payroll for Eurostar employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and company policies. This position plays a key role in meeting deadlines, maintaining data integrity, and supporting improvements in payroll processes.
Main Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Collect, prepare, calculate, and check payroll statements.
- Track absences, holidays, overtime, and other payroll variables.
- Process social and tax declarations (such as URSSAF, DSN) on time.
- Handle third-party attachments related to payroll.
Compliance and Regulatory Monitoring
- Apply legal and contractual rules, including labor code, collective agreements, and internal policies.
- Monitor legal and social developments to anticipate changes affecting payroll.
Personnel Administration
- Update employee payroll records (address, bank details, promotions).
- Prepare documents for employee departures, such as final settlements and certificates.
- Maintain Payroll HRIS data.
- Generate monthly payroll reports.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the optimization of payroll tools and processes.
- Identify issues and suggest corrective actions.
- Update remuneration guides and payroll procedures following annual negotiations.
Stakeholder Relations
- Respond to employee questions about pay and social rights.
- Work with HR, accounting, and external partners (retirement funds, mutual insurance providers).
