As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and timely payroll administration. Your attention to detail and understanding of Belgian legislation will guarantee that our employees receive their salaries correctly and punctually each month. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees' inquiries and assist the HR team with various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing for employees while adhering to Belgian laws and regulations. Monitor data accuracy in the time tracking system and proactively address any discrepancies.
- Manage employee files, keeping them up-to-date. Oversee the entire personnel and payroll administration, including contract creation, documentation for suspensions, time tracking, and payroll processing.
- Handle employee files from start to finish, including advances, bonuses, absences, and year-end packages.
- Assist in preparing reports and other essential documents.
- Stay informed about current social legislation and communicate this to employees patiently regarding their payslips, leave balances, etc. Provide clear support in personal payroll administration to ensure seamless operations.
