To thrive in this role, you should possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution, be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois, and have a passion for emergency medicine. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional care are essential.
