Job Overview
We are on the lookout for a skilled Perception Engineer to take a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of perception systems for our autonomous surface vessels. Our team is dedicated to enabling boats to operate and execute tasks independently, without human intervention. Opportunities are available for various levels, including entry-level, senior, and staff positions.
Responsibilities:
Create algorithms and models that empower vessels to sense their environment and navigate effectively.
Establish metrics for the quantitative assessment of enhancements and setbacks in vessel performance.
Conduct analysis on extensive data systems to facilitate model training and performance evaluation.
Requirements:
Solid programming skills
Proven experience in programming and the ability to contribute to large systems.
Understanding of Computing Fundamentals
Basic knowledge of operating systems and large-scale systems.
Familiarity with fundamental computer architecture.
A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting based on new information.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Familiarity with various filters and their applications.
Proficiency in Rust programming language.
Experience in maritime or autonomous vehicle projects.
Background in signal processing or sensor fusion.
Experience with low-latency inference and tracking pipelines.
Knowledge of path planning algorithms.
Experience in training and deploying multimodal models.
Familiarity with various sensors including radar, cameras, and LiDAR.
Expertise in developing and optimizing machine learning systems.
