Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:Proven experience in delivering digital solutions that effectively manage personal and sensitive information, ensuring robust protection measures are in place. Hands-on proficiency in PHP, Java, web application development, microservices, PostgreSQL, Git, Jenkins, Bash scripting, and Linux. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD). Experience developing SOAP and REST API consumers. Knowledge of data encryption protocols for data at rest and in transit. Desirable Qualifications:Experience collaborating with public sector teams, particularly those with limited agile development exposure. Hands-on experience in PHP, Java, and unit testing. Valid SC Clearance is a plus.

We are seeking a talented Developer with expertise in PHP and Java to join our Public Protection Directorate Project team in London. This role is expected to last between 6 to 12 months and operates outside of IR35 regulations.
The selected specialist will collaborate closely with various development and support teams, as well as existing vendors, to enhance our reporting services. You will utilize our established tech stack, including PHP, Symfony framework, and PostgreSQL, to understand legacy systems and develop secure user interfaces and microservices to manage sensitive data.
