BenchMark Physical Therapy, part of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician for its Perry, GA clinic. This role works closely with licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists, helping support both patient care and daily clinic operations.
Main responsibilities
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment before each patient session.
- Assist and observe patients during therapy exercises, documenting their responses as directed by therapists.
- Apply basic treatments, such as ice packs and heat pads, under therapist supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of therapy spaces and equipment, including managing linens.
- Handle administrative duties like patient intake, scheduling, and answering phone calls.
- Support other clinic needs as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a clinical setting.
- Comfort with computers and willingness to learn new software.
