Your Daily Responsibilities:Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows across various software domains. Architect, provision, and scale our infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud. Develop and integrate diverse toolchains to facilitate data management, test automation, static code analysis, and drone calibration tools. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and establish continuous improvement plans. Introduce best practices for version control, branching strategies, and implement automated quality gates. Monitor and enhance pipeline performance, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid delivery cycles. Lead automation initiatives for hardware/software-in-the-loop testing and simulation environments.
About the job
As a Platform Engineer (m/f/d) at Quantum Systems GmbH, you will be at the forefront of technology, responsible for architecting, optimizing, and enhancing our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Your work will fully automate the build, test, deployment, and release processes of embedded firmware, Matlab models, ground control software, and AI missions for our state-of-the-art drones.
In collaboration with a highly skilled team, you will significantly impact software deployment practices within our company, pushing the boundaries of what's possible for our advanced drone technologies.
You will engage closely with stakeholders from our Embedded, AI, and Ground Control teams, as well as from adjacent departments, to streamline and enhance the software development, testing, and deployment processes.
By ensuring top-notch code quality and lean software deployment pipelines, you will contribute to Quantum Systems' mission to lead the market in aerial data collection solutions using unmanned aerial vehicles (sUAV).
