AMCS Group is seeking a talented Platform Engineer to enhance our Platform Engineering team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in creating the essential frameworks that allow engineering teams to deliver software rapidly, securely, and at scale.

Your responsibilities will include designing, constructing, and refining the platforms, tools, and automation that support our software delivery lifecycle. This hands-on position directly contributes to improving the developer experience, reliability, and operational excellence across our organization.

You will engage with various technologies including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD processes, automation, container orchestration, event streaming, and observability. Your goal is to mitigate friction, standardize best practices, and empower teams with robust, reusable platform capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Platform Architecture & Development

Design and maintain scalable platform services, tools, and automation to support engineering teams.
Create high-quality, reusable frameworks and infrastructure components.
Influence platform architecture, technology choices, and long-term strategy.

Cloud Infrastructure & Reliability

Build and sustain cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).
Implement secure, reliable, and resilient systems adhering to SecOps and DevOps best practices.
Enhance application observability (metrics, logging, tracing) and system reliability.

Developer Experience & Enablement

Develop internal tools and automation workflows to boost engineering productivity.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve friction points.
Promote best practices in CI/CD, event streaming, testing automation, and deployment strategies.

Security & Compliance

Integrate security measures and compliance into platform capabilities.
Work with security teams to ensure designs are compliant and secure by default.

Collaboration & Leadership

Guide and mentor product engineers in adopting platform systems and best practices.
Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Qualifications:
