Note: Partly is headquartered in the UK, with a Product and Engineering HQ in Christchurch, New Zealand, and an early presence in San Francisco, USA. If you are based outside of a Hub, we will fly you to the nearest Hub for 1 week per quarter for our “Season Openers” (we pay for your travel and accommodation).

Role Overview
As a Platform Security Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing Partly's security framework while ensuring platform reliability, reporting directly to the Platform Lead. This multifaceted role merges infrastructure security with platform reliability, requiring a proactive approach to system hardening and operational maintenance.
You will be the first dedicated security professional at Partly, tasked with developing processes from the ground up while collaborating closely with our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain Reliability and Security: Engage in on-call rotation with the SRE team, leading security incident response planning and testing. Conduct post-incident reviews for security-related events and contribute to availability incidents.
