We are actively seeking a Plumbing Design Project Manager to enhance our vibrant team. In this role, you will thrive in a culture that prioritizes collaboration, technical excellence, and personal development. As a member of our MEP+L Systems engineering team, you will engage with a wide array of projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across our California and Texas offices to bring forward-thinking, community-focused designs to fruition.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and/or supervise comprehensive plumbing drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documentation, working closely with internal teams, architects, clients, and consultants.

  • Lead plumbing design initiatives and coordinate with various disciplines to establish requirements for plumbing systems, equipment, and materials throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure the design of fire protection systems is coordinated in accordance with the requirements set by the Authority Having Jurisdiction.

  • Utilize a robust understanding of design standards and code requirements related to plumbing and fire protection systems.

  • Contribute to diverse projects varying in size and complexity, including large-scale, technically intricate initiatives and those incorporating emerging industry technologies.

  • Develop innovative and practical plumbing design solutions using sound judgment; assess alternative design approaches to ensure optimal results.
