Optime Group is seeking a Pot Wash Operative to join the catering support team at Glasgow Central Train Station. Working in partnership with Avanti Trains, this role plays a key part in keeping kitchen and catering operations running smoothly by ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use. Flexible shifts, weekly pay, and a pathway from temporary to permanent employment are available for strong performers.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly rate: £12.21 for day/evening shifts, £13.02 for night shifts
Location: Glasgow Central Train Station, G1 3SL
Shifts: 5 days per week
Hours: Flexible between 07:00 am and 11:00 pm (£12.21/hour), or night shifts from 11:00 pm to 06:30 am (£13.02/hour)
Weekly pay
Temporary to permanent opportunity based on performance

Main Responsibilities

Thoroughly wash pots, pans, trays, and all catering equipment
Clean and sanitize kitchen items to a high standard
Support both catering and warehouse teams with cleaning tasks
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness throughout the workspace
Organize cleaned items so they are ready for immediate use
Assist with waste management and keep workstations tidy
Follow health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times
Help with broader operations during busy periods as required
