ResponsibilitiesLead the physical implementation at both block and chip levels. Execute synthesis and physical implementation processes, including floor planning, power delivery, place & route, timing noise analysis, and physical verification. Collaborate with the SoC design team to conduct architectural feasibility studies, establish timing, power, and area design goals, and evaluate RTL/design trade-offs. Assess the quality of floorplans and clock tree structures along with place & route methodologies. Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for timing closure. Conduct signal integrity (EM/Noise) and power integrity (IR/EM) analyses and remediation. Perform Design Rule Checking (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), and antenna analysis and clean-up. Oversee timing verification and final signoff. Ensure physical verification is completed and signed off. Minimum QualificationsMaster’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 15 years of experience. Extensive experience in power/ground grids, partitioning, timing ECO implementation, and physical verification.
