Responsibilities: Conduct external façade assessments and survey investigations in compliance with industry standards, including the PAS 9980 methodology for existing buildings and the EWS1 process. Perform surveys and technical reporting on active and passive fire protection systems. Ensure compliance with key British Fire Safety legislation and standards.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Fire Surveyor to provide essential technical support to our Fire Engineering and Surveying teams across the UK. At Jensen Hughes, we are known for our rapid response and delivery of comprehensive reports with the utmost technical integrity. The successful candidate will conduct on-site fire inspections and surveys during both construction and operational phases, participate in external wall surveys for new builds and refurbishments, and perform fire stopping and compartmentation surveys, as well as fire door inspections and occasional fire risk assessments. You will directly report to our Lead Surveyor and Divisional Director.
