This position is hands-on, lab-based, and will report directly to the Production Manager.Your Responsibilities Include:Design and implement electrical test systems for PCBA and high-voltage assemblies, encompassing test rack architecture, fixture design, instrumentation selection, and automation support.Develop test fixture PCBAs for use in test racks, managing schematic capture, layout, review, and bring-up for functional validation of production hardware.Construct, wire, debug, and maintain complete test racks and fixtures, ensuring power distribution, safety interlocks, signal routing, and data acquisition integration are effective.Enhance data acquisition and control tools to streamline testing processes.

Together, we can redefine the future of energy, because the world can’t afford to wait.Your Role:As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing the electrical energy management systems that power our fusion generators. Your work will encompass pulsed power delivery, magnetic control, power electronics integration, low voltage controls, and precision sensing in complex environments.Key Responsibilities:High Voltage/Pulsed Power Systems:Design, test, and enhance high-voltage systems for pulsed magnetic coils (1<ms) operating at currents up to 5MA and voltages reaching 40kV. Evaluate and implement solid-state switching devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SCRs/thyristors) with a focus on efficiency and thermal performance.Power Electronics:Develop and integrate DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC converters for energy transmission and recovery across a wide voltage range. Innovate switching-stage designs and ensure reliability in power distribution systems.
