Key Responsibilities:Oversee end-to-end operations for privacy requestsAct as the Data Protection Officer where mandated by lawLead the creation and submission of essential data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments (PRAs) to supervisory authorities as requiredCollaborate closely with the Legal teamEstablish and maintain essential governance for the privacy program (efficient yet audit-ready)Manage vendor and procurement privacy mattersProvide support for personal data incidentsImplement metrics for continuous improvementSuccess Metrics (First 6 Months):A unified global intake and case workflow is operational, complete with documented triage rules, deadlines, templates, and evidence retentionSubstantial reduction in reliance on contractors for routine privacy requests and program upkeepData inventory and processing records are systematically maintained and utilized in real workflows (requests, product evaluations, vendor assessments)Privacy evaluations are integrated into product and vendor change processes with predictable turnaround timesExecutive-ready metrics demonstrate enhanced cycle times and reduced backlogEssential Qualifications:Proven experience in privacy management and complianceStrong knowledge of data protection laws and regulationsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with strong analytical skills

In collaboration with the BitGo Legal Department, you will spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive global privacy program to address all internal and external privacy requirements and requests.
