As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:Overseeing daily indirect procurement activities, encompassing supplier selection, processing purchase orders, ensuring documentation completeness, following up on deliveries, and coordinating payments. Managing local category sourcing activities, which include implementing contracts, managing suppliers, maintaining vendor master data, and ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures. Building and nurturing effective supplier relationships; conducting evaluations through site visits, interviews, and performance analyses to ensure quality, service, and delivery standards. Requesting, evaluating, and comparing quotations; negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions; and establishing, monitoring, and enforcing supplier contracts to attain optimal value. Analyzing costs for both new and existing suppliers, supporting cost-reduction initiatives, and driving continuous improvement programs focused on quality, delivery, service, and cost performance. Proactively following up with vendors on purchase order statuses and estimated completion timelines to guarantee timely and accurate fulfillment.
