The Procurement Specialist II will play a crucial role in providing operational support to our procurement teams, ensuring we drive significant value for our clients through our transaction and sourcing processes. You will contribute to giving our clients visibility and insights into their service expenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support procurement operations and enhance value delivery to clients by providing insights into service spending.
- Assess incoming requests to identify the most suitable engagement type.
- Assist clients in establishing or extending Statements of Work (SOW) and resource assignments.
- Collaborate with suppliers to gather essential information, including pricing, delivery schedules, and key project terms.
- Oversee customer support activities, ensuring quality reviews of service providers and tracking timekeeping and milestones through the VMS tool or relevant technology.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and within AGS to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage client expectations through proactive communication and timely feedback.
- Recognize and address risk situations in collaboration with management.
- Assist in collecting performance data related to suppliers.
- Structure and disseminate Requests for Information (RFIs) to obtain supplier qualification data.
- Focus on processing activities to exceed client expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Field inquiries from clients, managing or escalating as necessary.
- Maintain and update monthly activity and performance reports, including program audit reports and invoice documentation.
- Engage professionally with clients, suppliers, and partners through email and phone communication.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business goals and desired technology outcomes.
- Ensure the closure of projects in the system upon notification of engagement completion; notify security as required.
