In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to provide specialized support across our Hydrocarbon Process Industry, Chemical, and Petrochemical operations. Engage with cutting-edge process and gas treatment technologies while collaborating with regional and global experts to enhance business retention and drive profitable growth within premium industrial accounts.
As a Product Application Specialist, your key responsibilities will include offering essential technical support to the commercial sales team and maintaining close relationships with clients in refineries, chemical plants, and acid gas treatment facilities. Your insights will be invaluable in addressing customer concerns, crafting corrective action plans, and performing technical audits at both existing and potential accounts. You will be a trusted technical advisor, adept at translating complex process challenges into actionable solutions and ensuring seamless communication among all stakeholders.
This position demands a robust technical foundation paired with exceptional communication skills to effectively influence commercial strategies and assist in securing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for delivering technical presentations across all levels of customer organizations, showcasing the unique advantages of Veolia Water Technologies' chemical treatment programs, and providing troubleshooting support at critical accounts. Collaborating within a dynamic European and Global team, you will help define market needs and assess new product introductions in response to evolving industry demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support to commercial sales teams across the Hydrocarbon Process Industry, Chemical, and Petrochemical sectors in Iberia and France.
- Conduct technical audits at existing accounts and survey prospects to identify opportunities and optimize treatment programs.
- Present technical information to customer organizations, including participation in seminars at specific customer sites.
- Provide troubleshooting and equipment inspection support at key accounts within the region.
- Develop corrective action plans for customer issues and maintain direct customer relationships through effective communication.
- Work with process documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, PDSs, and heat and material balances to support customer applications.
- Articulate the competitive advantages of Veolia Water Technologies' chemical treatment and service programs to customers.
- Support new business acquisitions and collaborate with European and Global teams to evaluate new product introductions.
