Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and follow-through. Comfortable managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. thepeoplebrand is seeking a Product Development Analyst based in Irvine, CA. This hybrid role splits focus between Special Make-Up (SMU) footwear product development and fit and wear testing. The position blends hands-on product evaluation, analytical work, and collaboration with multiple teams to help bring new footwear concepts to market.

Fit & Wear Testing

  • Develop and run fit and wear testing protocols for various footwear styles.
  • Assess comfort, fit, durability, and performance using structured evaluation methods.
  • Gather, analyze, and document feedback from wear testers to inform product improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Design, and Technical teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Track and report fit and performance metrics to support product decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with fit standards and established testing procedures.

SMU Product Development

  • Support all phases of SMU footwear product development.
  • Work with Design, Merchandising, and factory teams to execute product briefs.
  • Manage timelines to ensure sample delivery and meet commercialization goals.
  • Review samples for alignment with design intent, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor development progress, costs, and changes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assist in addressing challenges related to materials, construction, and fit.
