PurposeWe are looking for an AI Consultant with deep expertise in AI sovereignty, data sovereignty, and regulatory compliance to assist clients in highly regulated sectors such as public services, finance, and healthcare. This role emphasizes advising on and crafting sovereign AI solutions that adhere to legal, security, and operational standards, ensuring that data utilization, model governance, and AI ecosystems are compliant, traceable, and robust. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on implementation experience to facilitate practical advisory and direct interaction with clients, translating intricate regulatory and technical stipulations into target architectures, controls, and operational frameworks.As a trusted advisor and intermediary between delivery teams and clients, you will tackle AI sovereignty, data sovereignty, and compliance needs throughout the design and deployment of AI solutions.Evaluate client environments (cloud/hybrid/on-prem) and delineate sovereignty criteria for AI workloads (data residency, access controls, encryption, key management, segregation, logging, auditability).Design and enact AI governance frameworks (model lifecycle governance, risk classification, documentation, approval workflows, accountability, audit readiness).Assist clients in constructing compliant AI architectures (secure-by-design, privacy-by-design), encompassing data pipelines, model hosting strategies, and AI operational models (MLOps/LLMOps).Interpret regulatory requirements into actionable controls aligned with frameworks such as the EU AI Act, advising on the implementation of control sets for AI systems: monitoring, incident response for AI, model change management, drift detection, explainability/traceability, data lineage, retention policies.Create and present tailored concepts, roadmaps, and target operating models (people/process/technology) for sovereign AI adoption.
