Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for individuals and groups. Strong planning, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational abilities. Preferred knowledge of heavy equipment and its components. Technical aptitude regarding equipment repair times and components. Proficient in computer skills and familiar with general business software. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

ASCO Equipment is seeking a motivated and results-driven Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) to join our North Houston Service Department. This dynamic role focuses on cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients by promoting our Preventative Maintenance packages and Shop and Field Service repairs. The ideal candidate is an ambitious self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and is dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions to our customers.

The PSSR will engage with existing ASCO clients and identify new sales opportunities through visits to customer offices, shops, and job sites within their designated territory. Key responsibilities include following up on equipment sales, direct sales to end-users, quoting and selling parts and service jobs, addressing customer inquiries, providing technical support, and gathering client information to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote sales of parts and services including preventative maintenance plans, machine inspections, repairs, remanufactured components, job quotes, extended warranties, and special parts promotions.
  • Conduct follow-up calls on completed sales of equipment and major parts/services.
  • Assist in after-sales service calls to ensure customer satisfaction with equipment performance.
  • Provide limited technical support where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance of Parts and/or Service estimates with ASCO pricing and departmental approval standards.
  • Utilize CRM tools for pre-planning, post-call notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and complete required safety training.
  • Represent ASCO in a professional and positive manner at all times.
