In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and planning systems. Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence methodologies. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIs. Fluency in English. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Evaluate production performance metrics (quality, delivery, cost) and implement corrective measures to rectify discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, customer specifications, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the production planning process, focusing on capacity planning, scheduling, and load balancing.
  • Align customer demand with material availability and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Track and enhance key planning KPIs including On-Time Delivery (OTD), lead time, Work In Progress (WIP), and inventory levels.
  • Facilitate Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) execution at the site level in partnership with customers or Key Account Managers (KAM).
  • Champion continuous improvement projects leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Identify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in manufacturing and planning processes.
  • Conduct Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and root cause analyses.
  • Standardize best practices and assist in their deployment across various production lines or sites.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production and planning teams.
  • Encourage a culture of accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
  • Enhance team satisfaction through continuous engagement.
  • Promote strong communication across diverse, cross-functional teams.
