Requirements A minimum of 2 years of experience in a product manager, business operations manager, or similar role. Proven experience in crafting technical documents tailored for global audiences, adhering to established format and terminology standards. In-depth knowledge of professional software concepts, including product plans, product lifecycle, distribution channels, business/licensing models, and terms of use. Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within cross-functional teams.

Leverage your business expertise to develop comprehensive ArcGIS Productization Plans, serving as the definitive resource for operationally implementing the necessary business processes, workflows, best practices, and procedures required for licensing, delivering, and supporting the ArcGIS product suite. This position calls for a proactive, self-motivated, and innovative individual who can collaborate across the organization to enhance the experience of our global clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers and operational readiness teams to ensure productization plans and processes are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Develop and maintain productization plans for assigned products, detailing definitions for business models, distribution channels, business policies, and license enablement, ensuring alignment with the primary objectives of the product plan.
  • Collaborate with peers and senior leadership to continually drive process enhancements and innovation.
  • Effectively communicate product operational strategies throughout the organization.
  • Provide domain expertise by clarifying and evolving the Productization Plan to ensure successful operational implementations that align with release schedules.
  • Engage with primary stakeholders to ensure all divisions have the necessary information to build effective processes and workflows for successful product releases.
  • Offer post-release consultation to staff, distributors, and customers, providing guidance on business and licensing model issues, business rules, policies, legal terms of use, and other relevant topics as outlined in the productization plan.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify meaningful KPIs, assess operational performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Provide consultative guidance on all aspects of the productization process.
  • Demonstrate comfort in presenting and collaborating with senior management for execution planning.
