This role is not just another engineering position; you will collaborate with a diverse team of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Architectural professionals. Together, we work on critical projects that enhance the nation’s transportation infrastructure. From Class I and shortline railroads to commuter rail agencies, transit systems, municipalities, ports, and private developers, you will help design and implement solutions that truly matter.
Your Responsibilities:
- Engage in a variety of projects including fueling facilities, loading/unloading systems, maintenance facilities, tank farms, pump stations, and railyard operations.
- Develop comprehensive plans, studies, and detailed designs for industrial mechanical systems and building systems. This includes creating process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layouts, and HVAC/plumbing systems.
- Oversee construction administration by interpreting plans, observing operations, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to define project scope, manage budgets and schedules, and uphold quality standards.
