As the Assistant Manager of Workforce Operations, you will take ownership of the complete workforce management process for our fulfillment teams. You'll be responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with local third-party manpower providers, including defining SLAs, tracking performance, and enforcing penalties as necessary. Collaborating closely with commercial teams, you'll support pitches to new partners and conduct regular performance reviews for existing ones.Your role will also involve equipping on-ground supervisors with essential system access, tools, and performance dashboards to efficiently manage day-to-day operations. You will oversee the picker ecosystem, managing system access, logins, and permissions across various platforms and portals.Additionally, you will handle workforce budgeting and track monthly shopper costs to align with the local P&L. Ensuring accurate demand forecasting, you will optimize shift planning and scheduling to meet service levels effectively. Your responsibilities include implementing, monitoring, and enforcing SOPs across onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding processes.You will drive performance management for pickers, focusing on key metrics such as fill rate, efficiency, attendance, and order quality. Attendance and uniform compliance will also fall under your purview. In case of workforce issues or disputes raised by partners, you will investigate, manage, and resolve these matters promptly.Finally, you will identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to minimize manual efforts and optimize operating costs.
