Project Accountant I

Key Responsibilities:Assess and authorize customer account setups in alignment with company standards, guaranteeing all necessary billing information is accurately documented. Analyze contracts, purchase orders, and billing terms, ensuring precise capture of billing information within the Management Information System (MIS). Generate and dispatch precise invoices promptly via various billing platforms. Facilitate clear communication with the Project Accountant Team Lead and the Digital Innovation CSM/FSR team through email and messaging systems. Administer expense transfers to appropriate accounts within the MIS, ensuring compliance with approval protocols and maintaining an organized audit trail. Assist the Project Accountant Team Lead and Digital Innovation CSM/FSR team in the coordination and oversight of billing and collections activities. Execute billing voids and write-offs, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained. Maintain comprehensive customer account records, including invoices and contractual documentation. Initiate and oversee customer account closures to confirm that all MIS records are accurate and complete. Review and update customer records in the CRM system, ensuring alignment with MIS billing documentation. Process payments accurately and follow up with relevant internal departments as needed. Monitor collections, maintain accounts receivable notes, and interact directly with customers to ensure seamless transactions.
