We are in search of a seasoned Project Director with a robust background in energy project management to oversee the execution of various energy infrastructure projects, ranging from natural gas to solar photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage solutions (BESS), and hybrid systems. You will play a critical role in guiding projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and comply with all technical and safety regulations.
This position demands a unique combination of engineering knowledge, construction expertise, project control skills, and adept stakeholder management.
The ideal candidate should reside in Dallas, Texas and be willing to travel to project sites across various states and attend in-person meetings as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Define project scope, feasibility, and technical requirements in collaboration with engineering, development, and operations teams.
Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to finalize project specifications and assess constructability.
Conduct thorough constructability reviews and evaluate logistics, site conditions, layouts, and readiness for commissioning.
Assist with permitting and interconnection processes, liaising with utilities and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
Budgeting, Estimating & Scheduling:
Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, including detailed cost estimates and contingency tracking.
Create, review, and modify project schedules and staffing plans to ensure timely execution.
Monitor project progress, budget adherence, scheduling, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance.
