Qualifications
Minimum education required: Civil, Industrial, or Construction Engineer within the construction sector. Professional experience: Junior profile accepted; initial experience in the construction sector is an advantage. Qualifications: Safety for Operational Supervisors VCA (VOL-VCA). Languages: Fluent in French and Dutch; English is a plus. Competencies: Autonomous, organized, and solution-oriented; team spirit and integrity; strong interpersonal and commercial skills; excellent organizational skills; proficiency in digital environments; tender management; valid driver's license (category B).
About the job
As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues from the Project Team and Engineering Department:
- Actively participate in the design of projects and the preparation of tenders;
- Ensure optimal planning and preparation of projects;
- Be responsible for the quality of delivered projects;
- Oversee budget management and regularly monitor project costs;
- Serve as the primary contact point, facilitating effective information sharing among various project partners, including clients, architects, design firms, and supporting departments.
In conjunction with the Production Department:
- Prepare and follow up on the actual execution of work sites;
- Ensure that necessary materials and resources are available on-site;
- Guarantee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations;
- Halt activities in case of danger to safety, health, or the environment;
- Ensure adherence to client requirements and quality procedures.
In collaboration with the Health, Safety & Environment, Quality, People, and Maintenance Departments:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company regarding safety, health, environment, and quality;
- Promote company values and serve as a role model in this area, particularly regarding respect.
