About You:Proficiency in 2D drawing and 3D modeling, with a strong command of Solidworks. Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a design-related role, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management position. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Manufacturing. Experience in the food industry or a similar field is advantageous but not mandatory. Essential experience in design for manufacturing. A sharp eye for detail and strong appreciation for quality. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.

As the Project Engineering Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and directing our project engineering team to successfully deliver top-notch customer projects within the specified timelines, scopes, and budgets. This position requires you to manage the technical execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that all engineering deliverables comply with company standards. You will act as both a technical authority and a leadership figure, promoting innovation and continuous improvement in the Customer Solutions Delivery department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

  • Guide, mentor, and cultivate a diverse team of engineers.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members according to their skills and project demands.
  • Encourage a collaborative team atmosphere, ensuring effective communication, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

2. Technical Project Management:

  • Manage multiple customer engineering projects from initial concept to final implementation.
  • Create comprehensive project plans that encompass timelines, resource distribution, and budgets.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure compliance with goals, schedules, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify potential risks and apply mitigation strategies to secure project outcomes.
  • Provide updates on project status, progress, and challenges to senior leadership and stakeholders.

3. Technical Guidance:

  • Offer technical direction and assistance to project teams.
  • Ensure engineering solutions adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  • Conduct design reviews, technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility analyses to steer the team towards innovative solutions.
  • Remain up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating best practices into project execution.

4. Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., R&D, production, procurement, quality) to facilitate seamless project delivery.
  • Engage with external clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure engineering outputs meet contractual obligations and expectations.
  • Address and resolve any engineering challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
