To succeed in this role, candidates must possess strong leadership skills and experience in the following areas:Coordinate the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) within a scientific setting, focusing on defining technical and functional requirements, quality control planning, implementation, upgrades, and integrating with existing NCBI systems using Agile methodologies. Manage complex technical projects involving scientific and genomic data daily. Provide both technical and administrative expertise to software development projects. Oversee software/system design and specifications, system implementation, integration, and testing. Track project milestones and deliverables effectively. Balance risks, schedules, and resource allocation efficiently.
