We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) for the LUMI AI Factory Service Centre, a key component of the LUMI AI Factory initiative.
In this pivotal role, you will coordinate various workstreams, from project planning and resource allocation to stakeholder engagement and risk management, while ensuring that all deliverables align with both technical and strategic goals.
Your capability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and lead cross-functional teams will be vital as you collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including policymakers, industry partners, and international organizations. Exceptional leadership, adaptability, and communication skills are essential for this role.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Management and Delivery: Ensure the complete project lifecycle management: track progress, enforce quality standards, and facilitate the timely and budget-compliant delivery of all work packages.
- Oversee daily operations, enhance internal communication, and promote interdepartmental collaboration within CSC.
- Governance and Compliance Support: Organize project reviews and prepare formal submissions to the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, ensuring adherence to program standards and requirements.
- Maintain and update the project risk register, collaborating closely with leadership to formulate mitigation strategies and monitor their implementation.
Stakeholder and Strategic Coordination:
- Act as a vital member of the project's governance body, offering strategic insights, recommendations, and data-driven analysis to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with Work Package leads to align activities, optimize resource distribution, and cultivate a high-performing environment.
