Key Responsibilities:Attend scheduled meetings and technical presentations to ensure project quality. Prepare reports and presentations in response to technical and administrative inquiries stemming from Independent reviews and COCHILCO reviews, potentially covering multiple specialties. Address discrepancies between the Engineering Details of the project and actual site conditions upon the commencement of work, including making modifications for any unidentified interferences during engineering development. Ensure standardization of processes. Focus on Quality and Sustainability: Proficient in methodologies such as BIM and AWP to optimize project planning, design, and execution. Facilitate collaborative management incorporating practices like value engineering, energy optimization, and more.

We are seeking a highly qualified Project Manager / Engineering Manager for an engineering services project in mining at Chuquicamata, located in the II Region of Antofagasta. The ideal candidate will hold a university degree in Civil Engineering (including disciplines such as Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical, Mining, Metallurgical, or Hydraulic Engineering) and possess at least 15 years of professional experience. A minimum of 10 years must have been spent in a similar role as Engineering Manager in comparable services.
The candidate should have directed projects through their study phases (including profile, conceptual, basic, and/or detailed design) and/or execution. Strong knowledge in integrated project management is essential, along with familiarity with project management software and specific design tools as applicable.
Experience with CODELCO services will be prioritized.
