The Project Manager - Online Data Collection at Sago Group oversees the full lifecycle of online data collection projects, from initial planning through to final delivery. This position is based in Gurugram, Haryana, India and involves close coordination with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure project success.
Role overview
This role takes responsibility for managing multiple research projects at once, guiding them through each phase, and ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and company standards. Building and maintaining strong working relationships is a key part of the job, as is providing regular updates and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will do
- Independently manage research projects from sales through delivery.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and vendors.
- Review project specifications and research designs to support data collection.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and work to resolve them.
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Provide updates and recommendations to clients and teams, escalating concerns when needed.
- Use Sago systems effectively throughout each project.
- Deploy samples, coordinate fieldwork, and ensure quotas and reporting requirements are met.
- Respond promptly to unexpected challenges and manage their resolution.
- Support teams with coding, analysis, and reporting tasks.
- Validate and prepare data for client delivery.
- Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
- Maintain strong client relationships and uphold company SOPs.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
