Strong leadership skills paired with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Familiarity with Irish construction and energy regulatory frameworks is desirable. Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) would be advantageous.

AECOM is seeking a dedicated Project Manager (Power) to join our dynamic team in Dublin.

As the Project Manager for Power, you will take the lead in planning, coordinating, and executing significant power infrastructure projects at Dublin Airport's landside campus. This pivotal role ensures the safe and efficient delivery of intricate electrical utility programs, encompassing high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems, substations, renewable energy integration, and resilience initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

Power Infrastructure Delivery

  • Direct the complete lifecycle of electrical infrastructure projects across LV, MV, and HV networks, covering both primary and secondary distribution systems.

  • Oversee the development of new substations and the enhancement of existing assets, including switchgear replacements and transformer installations.

  • Manage the integration of SCADA systems, protection schemes, and grid interface requirements for safe and dependable operations.

  • Supervise the design and construction of utility corridors, including the routing of underground and overhead cables, ducting systems, chambers, and interfaces with existing buried services.

  • Ensure all tasks are accomplished in compliance with ESB Networks standards, airport electrical safety regulations, and relevant IEC/EN codes.

Energy Resilience & Sustainable Infrastructure

  • Facilitate the implementation of resilient power systems to maintain operational continuity.

  • Contribute to the integration of renewable energy technologies and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

  • Support long-term energy planning initiatives aligned with capacity growth, carbon reduction, and efficiency objectives.

Program, Commercial & Contract Management

  • Deliver complex infrastructure projects within an active airport environment, ensuring no disruption to essential systems and services.

  • Lead program planning and control, including detailed scheduling, risk identification and mitigation, interface management, and phased delivery strategies.

Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Operations, Asset Management, Safety, ICT, and Facilities to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Engage with external stakeholders such as ESB Networks, planners, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

  • Coordinate statutory approvals, grid connection processes, and ensure full regulatory compliance.
