We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to spearhead the management of software and mobile application projects at Vanguard Matrix Inc. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in establishing and executing project management policies, guiding both small and large-scale software and web application development initiatives from inception to launch. In this pivotal role, you will define project objectives, collaborate with Business Analysts to outline project scopes, ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle, acquire necessary resources, and coordinate team efforts to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans aligned with business requirements, leveraging the expertise of domain specialists.
- Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for future reference.
- Regularly update the project plan to reflect deliverables, dependencies, assignments, and results.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects through all phases, from business analysis to execution and wrap-up.
- Secure approvals for proposed changes in scope and prioritization.
- Keep the project team continuously informed about the project’s purpose, background, scope, requirements, and critical issues.
- Prepare and deliver communication plans and progress reports to key stakeholders, detailing updates on activities, deliverables, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings.
- Identify and manage project dependencies, ensuring timely and targeted project deliverables.
- Recognize project risks and critical paths, managing mitigation strategies with the project team and stakeholders.
- Effectively balance the Project Triangle of scope, time, and cost.
- Follow best practices in project management and continuously drive improvements.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Contribute to departmental and organizational missions by completing related tasks as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
