The Plant Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all quality standards and policies are upheld within the company. This role aims to foster a culture of excellence, achieving consistent quality with zero defects through collaboration with all stakeholders. The successful candidate will focus on the development, planning, and implementation of robust quality systems and processes, along with training the plant personnel.• Business Process Improvemento Design, plan, and implement quality systems to comply with Food Safety standards aligned with GFSI guidelines.o Manage food safety requirements, including PRPs and audit processes across factory, market, and warehouse settings. Conduct root cause analyses, implement corrective action plans, and review compliance status for all quality-related observations, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders for prompt resolution.o Collaborate closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and other functions, gathering their input for the enhancement and development of Quality Systems and Processes.o Establish, maintain, and operate the laboratory to meet testing requirements for incoming, in-process, and finished goods consistently.o Coordinate with external laboratories and calibration agencies for additional testing needs.o Support vendor quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for enhancement with suppliers.• Talent Managemento Cultivate and train the team to enhance the implementation of industry best practices in their work areas.o Assess the learning needs of team members and those critical to food safety, fostering skill enhancement and maintaining a motivated workforce.• Customer Issue Resolutiono Organize and handle consumer feedback by engaging with customers and stakeholders.o Propose immediate, short-term, and long-term action plans through an internal web-based system to address customer concerns quickly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction.o Assist in investigations related to quality issues, coordinating with stakeholders as needed.• Risk Managemento Monitor and report compliance status for identified risks.o Document all business risks associated with quality non-conformance and escalate when necessary.o Communicate business risks to all relevant stakeholders.o Liaise with statutory, regulatory, and government bodies.• New Projects and Cost Efficiency Initiativeso Assist in the commissioning and startup of new projects and conduct Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) for new equipment installations.o Validate quality parameters during scale-up trials, including travel tests, and share trial reports with stakeholders to ensure that all new products meet quality standards.
