Role Overview: Project Preparation Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)
The Project Preparation Engineer joins the projects department to make sure every project starts on the right foot. This role suits someone with experience in a similar position or a technician ready to move into an office-based role.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare utility projects and document all relevant project data
- Plan and coordinate the work of technicians
- Order materials and keep track of orders
- Work closely with project leaders and the sales team
- Maintain communication with suppliers, clients, and technicians
- Attend meetings and visit project sites as needed
- Ensure documentation of completed work is accurate, complete, and timely

Requirements
- Completed education in Installation Technology or Mechanical Engineering (MBO level 2 or higher)
- VCA diploma (or willingness to obtain one) and a valid driver’s license
- Experience with utility projects
- Fluent Dutch, both spoken and written
- Ability to keep an overview and solve problems effectively is a plus
