Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Establish and nurture strong vendor relationships while continuously increasing your knowledge of their products and services. Assist estimating teams with vendor contacts, real-time pricing information, and lead times for materials. Participate in the decision-making for awarding engineered buyout and commodity packages, compiling quotes by material type and project phases, and soliciting updated pricing from vendors using our procurement system. Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of procurement plans for project team approval. Serve as a liaison between operations and distribution for seamless communication, accurate tracking, organized deliveries, and clear proof of delivery. Source back-ordered items, confirm change orders for buyout packages, and manage logistics for returns and replacements. Oversee rental requests across the organization, guaranteeing timely availability of rental equipment, becoming proficient in our rental software, and forecasting committed costs. Collaborate with the accounting team to regularly review open purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in committed costs and received amounts, resolving discrepancies, and closing completed orders.
