Key Responsibilities:Address product sourcing inquiries from the sales team, identifying optimal solutions from both local and international suppliers. Assess product recommendations based on availability, pricing, and suitability. Ensure the options align aesthetically, demographically, and functionally with customer requests. Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier knowledge database that details inventory, brand positioning (trendy, basic, or professional), and supplier specialties for different product categories. Conduct ongoing market research to analyze brands, trends, and retail aesthetics, enhancing our ability to meet diverse customer preferences. Identify and report recurring product gaps, proactively seeking solutions when requests are unmet. Document your sourcing insights for team reference, streamlining the sourcing process for all requests. Support outreach efforts to establish relationships with new overseas manufacturers and domestic suppliers as we expand our offerings.
