Your Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer I to join our dynamic team focused on creating an outstanding mobile experience for parents of athletes using Hudl. You will play a pivotal role in the launch and expansion of an innovative platform that connects parents with their athletes' journeys, ensuring that every highlight, schedule update, and cherished memory is flawlessly delivered. In this position, you will lead testing initiatives within your team, prioritizing prevention and efficiency to guarantee a smooth user experience.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer I, your responsibilities will include:
- Advocating for the Parent Experience: Serve as the quality champion for our mobile platform, ensuring that parents have a seamless and dependable experience engaging with their child's sports activities.
- Driving a Mobile-First Strategy: Participate in all team ceremonies to raise quality concerns, helping the team understand the distinct influence of mobile features and the APIs they depend on, ensuring that both manual and automated testing are integral to every task.
- Testing and Iterating Rapidly: Utilize a combination of automation, exploratory, and manual testing to validate successful releases, ensuring that any sub-defects are identified and resolved before they impact users.
