The Quality Control (QC) Chemist will be responsible for conducting routine analyses of raw materials, incoming materials, and finished products in compliance with safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include performing visual, dimensional, and physical tests, alongside commodity and analytical chemistry evaluations, ensuring all products meet our stringent quality requirements.
Test results will be documented using computerized systems or traditional laboratory records. Additional duties may include supporting laboratory operations and undertaking special assignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company and laboratory safety protocols, promptly reporting any safety concerns to supervision.
- Consistently follow operating procedures, maintaining cGMP and cGDP standards.
- Work independently while seeking guidance when necessary.
- Adapt to dynamic work sequences and actively contribute to planning discussions with team members and supervisors.
- Communicate the status of work sequences to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Engage in discussions to identify opportunities for process improvements when scheduled work is not completed.
- Contribute positively to the CQ laboratory environment by supporting team members.
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of non-instrumental wet chemistry techniques including Manual Titrations, pH, Conductivity, Autotitrations, UV-Vis, and Polarimetry.
- For Incoming Material QC lab analysts, understand Assurance Quality Limits (AQL) and relevant sampling procedures (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4).
