Quality Control Officer – La Casa
(32 hours part-time)
About the Role
As a Quality Control Officer at La Casa, you will be instrumental in upholding product quality and food safety standards throughout our facility. Your role will encompass various tasks, from managing incoming stock to ensuring that production line operations adhere to HelloFresh's high-quality benchmarks.
You will ensure that all products comply with HelloFresh's quality standards, food safety regulations, and legal obligations before they reach our customers. You'll be pivotal in maintaining HACCP and GMP standards, identifying non-conformances, and championing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and food safety outcomes.
General Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough documentation of product quality, compliance, and labeling assessments on incoming goods per HelloFresh and legislative standards.
- Identify, log, and escalate any supplier-related or internal non-conformances to the Site QC Lead, Quality Assurance Lead, and/or Production Team as necessary.
- Implement procedures for labeling, segregating, and managing non-conforming products, ensuring proper follow-up actions are undertaken.
- Perform and document pre-operational and operational compliance checks on production lines to uphold and continuously enhance HelloFresh's Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Assist the Site QC Lead in implementing and maintaining safe food practices across the production area.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of quality standards and processes.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards at the QC station and its surroundings.
